WAQTC Testing Technician Qualification Program

Getting Started

Are you interested in gaining WAQTC qualification status? The first step to successfully achieving WAQTC qualification is identifying which of the following three categories you fall into. Are you:

Engineering Consultant

CONSULTANT

 Contractor

CONTRACTOR

 Independent Party

INDEPENDENT

If you fall into the above three categories, follow the directions for you specific designation. If you do not fall into any of these categories and need additional help, contact The University of Alaska Corporate Programs office for further instruction.

QUICK GUIDE

  • Step 1: Complete registration forms
  • Step 2: Schedule written exam and lab exam appointment with a UACP representative
  • Step 3: Study and prepare for exams via the Materials Modules and Exam Guide
  • Step 4: Complete examinations
  • Step 5: Pay WAQTC Qualification Fees
  • Step 6: Receive Qualification Certificate and get added to the registry
